Do I need experience to apply?
For many cleaning and camp roles, no. Hotel housekeeping usually prefers some experience, and we will tell you honestly which of the two you fit.
Will accommodation and food be provided?
In most cleaning and housekeeping contracts, yes — and exactly what is included is explained before you accept and written into the contract you sign.
What are the hours?
Usually eight to twelve hour shifts, six days a week, with overtime rules set out in the contract. Night and split shifts exist and are explained at the interview, not after arrival.
Are there roles for women?
Yes — hotel housekeeping, laundry and hospital cleaning roles for women come up regularly. The employer, the accommodation and the conditions are explained the same way as for any other role.
What documents do I need?
A valid passport and any experience letters you hold. We list everything you need, in the order to obtain it, and what each step costs before you begin.
